In 2011, we bought this cottage on the Courtenay River because of its unique location and charming character. We lovingly renovated and redecorated with you in mind, sharing our cottage with visitors and helping you to access the best of Vancouver Island is our pleasure. We feel privileged to be living in the Comox Valley and hope that you will discover the attraction of our Valley that the native people called “Land of Plenty”. Courtenay River Cottage is less than one hour north of Nanaimo and 2½ hours north of Victoria.We are 35 minutes south of Campbell River and 3½ hours south of Port Hardy.
